It’s no secret that students’ writing skills, and their confidence in writing, continue to decline. I offer one-on-one sessions with students who are looking to feel more assured in their abilities and take their writing to the next level. These sessions not only equip students with hard skills, like how to properly use commas and structure a story, but they also encourage them to develop a genuine love of storytelling. I accomplish this by collaboratively crafting writing prompts with my students that speak to their individual interests and goals.
